Someone mentioned in a thread that they sent some rocks in "somewhere" for identification. I've looked all over and can't find the thread so I'm hoping they'll look here.
I was wondering where they sent them and if it was expensive to do have that done.

Hey Cher, you might try emailing one of the professors at the University of Minnesota. They often are willing to help identify rocks for individuals, they just don't like to do free consulting for businesses. They will be most familiar with what's found in your area as well.
