Whew, and I thought they were expensive at our grocery store at $750 per ounce. That works out to over $6,000 per ounce! All for something that has to be eaten soon or its garbage. Go figure.

I do like a good fungus; but the several dollar a pack variety will do me fine. I would rather buy the 300 dollars slab; if I had 330,000 to spend on a fungus. Question; what do you do to the cook who burns a 330,000 dollar fungus while making it into a meal?
