Congrats for the "grandson" , he's cute. So are mom and granny! she doesn't show her age which, by the way, isn't much.
It reminds me the joke with the old man wanting to marry a 20 old girl. His family, to keep him from doing that, told him:" Hey, you want to marry her now, when you're 80 and she's 20. But when you'll be 100 she'll be 40!! Would you want to be with a 40 yers old woman?"

E-dog, Bite your tongue, you old fart! 44 is not old! And I can say that with much authority, since I've been 39 for 5 years and 4 months, now.
Beautiful little boy, and I'm so glad Mom and baby (and grandparents) are doing well.
May we have a name for the little guy?

Takila's grandson is named Riley. I call him "biker baby" Now I have to figure out how to secure a car seat to the Harley.....

Earth's got the title wrong...it should read: Takila is so young...to have such a beautiful grandson!!!
He looks wonderful...alert and open eyed and probably wondering what all he's gonna get to see riding backwards on his old Step-Granddad's Harley!!!
Maybe it's time to consider a sidecar attachment or better still--a trike! ;D
Enjoy that little boy!!!!

A trike is for old people! The biker baby will be riding with the wind in his face... Takila is so old that when she goes in for her hip resurfacing next month the dr. told me he can also do a few lifts while he's at it....

It was an awesome experience! My daughter only yelled at me twice during her labor ("I told you no pictures" and "stop talking")! He is a cutie, and I'm not saying it just because he's my grandson! He wasn't all wrinkly and scrunched up. He was bright eyed. The nurses and his pediatrictian said the same. Mom said he was being fussy this morning, but I told her it's probably because he's hungry. Once they both get the nursing thing down, he'll get filled up. I would be there with them today if I had enough vacation time left! I'll be going right back there today after work! She should be going home tomorrow. I can't wait to hold him again!

Congrats Earth and Takila! Beautiful grandkid to spoil...lol
By the way...age is a matter of perception. I'm almost 42 and have 2 step-granddaughters and one actual grandson. (Beaming with pride)
Grandkids are cool.

It's [glow=red,2,300]duct[/glow] tape Liz. I have always told Takila that if she wants me to be quiet, then treat me like an infant and give me something to put in my mouth to keep it busy... Men, they spend 9 months trying to get out of it, then spend the rest of their life trying to get back in it... [glow=red,2,300]Yeowsa!!!! [/glow]

I'm glad everyone is doing good. Takila, being a Grandma means you get to hug him and hold him and sqeeze him tight ANYTIME!!!! T
