i went to retrieve the garbage container and check the mail this morning and my mailbox was gone. the post is there but the box with all the mail is gone . that was just not on my list of things to do today - search for the box, call the p.o., call the sheriff's dept, cancel credit cards, and buy a new mailbox....i hope it was chock full of junk like it always is when i look in there. kim

Bummer Kim! I feel for you.
My husband lost his wallet the other day, panicked and cancelled all of our cards and then found his wallet in the garage. Now we have to get all new cards and change all of our online banking, ebay, EVERYTHING that we do online with those numbers. *sigh* Wasnt on my list either. Especially since we specifically put xmas gifts on a certain card and that card is not usable now.
Hope you get everything cleared up quickly. We didnt have the theft issue to worry about at least.

It might be the mailpersons way of letting you know they are tired of all the heavy FRBs; lol. OR it could be some teenages. My mailbox had the door ripped off the mail flag; sticky letters. Two solar light posts went missing (bet they are in some teenagers version of a tree fort. This would be a place far away from the parents; in the state forest; lite up by by my solar light posts and littered with beer cans, bottles and hopefully that is it. Sorry your whole box is gone.

we get alot of that around here but it's usually earlier in the summer ---- they raise alot of pumpkins ( to can at Libby's) here and one of the fav's is to load up a pickup full then see how many it takes to destroy the box --- always has alot of orange goo laying close by in the morning ! ;D

That's a real pissmeoff for sure Kim! Have you spoken to the neighbours & found out if anyone else had any surprises or maybe heard anything? The entire lamp fixture went "missing" from the lamp post at the end of our driveway last year over the Canada Day long weekend. We replaced it only to have it smashed again a couple weeks later. We replaced it this year and so far so good.
