Good news for a change. My shoulder is doing great. I have been doing the physcial therapy and the little lady who is working my case is wonderful.
I have almost 100% range of motion and about 60% strength so far. The doctor is hoping we can reach at lease 85% strength. He did say he is very surprised that I have almost 100% range of motion. He did say we were lucky as he did not have to cut any muscle...just took out a bone spur, cleaned up a rough bone, and cut out a lot of brusis (sp?).
I still have a lot of pain in the shoulder but it is not as bad as before the surgery and with therapy it will go away....or at least that is what the therapists tell me.
Will be out there moving boulders again soon.....

WOW!!! 100% ROM is absolutely wonderful news. And the accompanying strength is also fantastic! Glad to hear you have a good PT. Sounds like you are definitely on the right track. As for moving boulders...it all depends on which shoulder you use... Check with your PT first before trying this, Okay? ;D Wishing you continued success on your road to recovery! Lady B (Retired PT )
