Awesome agate! Never seen one quite like it. In some ways it reminds me of some of the Puma Agate I've seen but the colors are so much different. North of Neuquen, Neuquen Province, Argentina is the location I have listed in my notebook for the Puma Agate location though, so maybe it is a type of or something very close to that material. The exterior of the nodule looks very much that of some of the Puma Agates I've seen pics of....mel

AWESOME- Mel is right (as usual) that it does look a lot like Puma- What is in the caviety- it does not look at all "Quartzy" but looks like a calcium carbonate- Perhaps this is a Replacement agate (ala Lace agate??) Of calcium componds? What ever it is it sure does look Nice!
