These agates, or geodes, come from the Mont Lyall mine in the middle of the Gaspe peninsula in eastern Quebec. They could be called thundereggs too. If you read French: mont-lyall.com/These are rough saw cut, not polished yet, and photographed dry. This one is a slab about an inch thick.

The fish and the manta ray are cool Rich, but I really like Bluto with the pointed hat.

Nice eggs I like the fish also. I see a polar bear with a hat on getting ready to dive on a seal. On the other half he has taken the hat off and walked to the other side of the hole to place his hat on a pile of snow. Neat rocks for sure. George
