Does anyone here have any experience working this material? I snagged the pic off ebay.

Min.dat says it is potassium aluminum silicate microcline, which is a Feldspar. Hardness is 6. naturally tan, yellowish, but turquoise with white streaks if trace copper is present. Found in several countries, including U.S. Here is what it looks like polished: This pic also snagged from ebay.

I have a few pieces of the Brazilian amazonite and a few pieces of Russian Amazonite (more white quartz streaks in the Russian). The combined batches have made it through to pre-polish and then were set aside for some reason. Comparatively, it was actually an easy stone to shape and get to this stage - very little babying needed...
