Found this hiking in Castlewood Canyon, south of Denver, CO. The center circle goes straight through, but looks different on each side. Sorry for poor pic quality. It feels like flint, but lighter in weight. Any thoughts? Evvy

That orb pattern reminds me of something like imperial jasper (from Mexico?) or Bruneau jasper (from Idaho?). It isn't either of those, but I'd call it some kind of orbicular jasper. -Don

i like the idea of petrified bumble bee.......could "bee" the next trendy "buzz" in the rock world.

It reminds me of Eye Agate, it certainly looks like an Agate of some kind, but then again, I'm only a newbie myself
