ok...pictures stink. Will try to get better ones. These little pieces are semi clear in spots with black & orange inclusions. The top pick almost glows a neon color. Rock shop people couldn't say where or what it was. Anyone?

Ok some of those ( the red and black ones) look like one type of Robinson Ranch Plume out of Oregon. The Agateswithinclusuins website doesn't show a picture of the red and black type though. I've just seen it in some collections. Can't wait to see some of that sliced for a better look....Mel

red-ish orange with flashes of rainbow colors? Looks like AZ or Mex fire agate from the one picture I saw. Is it "bubbly" (technical term: botroidal(sp?))?

Hey Dean...nope. I have some fire agate & know the shape you're referring to. This is an agate type with smoke/black color then has these very bright patches of honest to god orange. Bright orange sherbet color that almost goes into plumes.

I've seen some Carey Plume Agate from the Carey Ranch in Oregon that looks just like it. The black areas often have a dendrite in them. Bob
