I only know for a fact that two of these are Morrisonite, most of this was picked up at the 10-ton $0.50/lb sale (no not the known Morrisonite- but maybe?) I'm guessing there is some wildhorse and Biggs here, but I'm certainly no expert. What would some of you call these? 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12

I'd say #2,9,10 are Rocky Butte, #6+7 Morrisonite, #3 looks almost like Owyhee but colors are odd, #12 has a Biggs look to the outside but the broken lower tip looks like something else, maybe Owyhee again. #1,4,5,11 clueless. #8 don't know but damn those dendrites look nice! In pic #12 it looks like McDermitt or Disaster Peak in the far left of the pic barely showing......Mel

Good catch on the two Morrisonites there Mel, So are the little pale spots the signature for Rocky Butte?
That last one at the edge of the picture was what I was thinking might be biggs, but its actually a bit grainy, almost like sandstone, so maybe it is something else.
Might that #1 be Imperial or one of the mexican jaspers?

Rally: I alway think of Rocky Butte as having those spots and sort of a sloppy, almost brecciated, indistinct pattern. #1 sure might be Imperial and that graininess in the one on the left edge of that one pic makes it sound even more like McDermitt or Disaster Peak which can both be so grainy that they take a poor finish.....Mel

#1 looks like willow creek or Hart Mountain jasper, and I'd say #10 is Biggs.

Okay - #11 reminds me of something I saw on ebay about a year ago...but I can't remember the name! It was called something like Desert Queen Picture Jasper (not African Queen, and definitely not Georgia Queen!), but it was blues and bright greens and oranges and yellows similar to that piece. I was never the high bidder, though, so no help there. Google searches by that name turn up nothing, though.
