Green stuff looks a bit like Amazonite (or possibly aventurine)?
Yellowy stuff - I'm not sure .... got a few bits of calcite that look a bit like that .... but nope, I'm not sure.

Pporky, An Amateurish guess....Yellow looks like Calcite. I'd guess the green to be Fluorite. Steve

I'll make my guess as Citrene for the first, and the second is too hard to make out, but adventurine to even Kansas green moss. Let us know what you come up with.

They could be Citrene. How hard are they?

Pporky, Yellow looks like Calcite. Steve A simple test for calcite is a drop of hydrochloric acid on the surface of the suspect sample. If it's calcite- it will bubble vigorously. invisibleuser

Battery acid is sulphuric acid and it won't work on calcite. You need hydrochloric or (muriatic) acid.

It does look like it could be calcite or flourite which with the way the crystals are formed but it's hard to tell even from a really sharp pic.

What about Barite? Sure looks like a honey calcite.. does it feel waxy to the touch?

Hi folks I am still working on this stuff it does scratch with a knife although does not feel waxy, I am leaning towards calcite, I saw a piece sort of similar recently.

Looks like calcite or barite to me, the second I'd agree with Steve, green fluorite, don't know if I'd try tumbling it or not, its pretty soft stuff, although the piece I have seems to cab ok, the green disappears when its slabbed or at best its very pale.

Did you find the acid to test it with?

I would say aventurine and calcite but if I can't lick them I could be wrong
