;D I was bored tonight so after looking at Cher's totally sweet wire wrap (and remembering that I had a rock shaped very simular), I thought "there's something to do!" I had enough wire for one more so here it is! I've been carefully studying the work of master wire wrapper "Banjo" and you can sure learn alot from his work and the great work of the other members!! This is Green zebra agate, just finished 10 minutes ago using brass wire... front... back

My wife got me a nice set of tools. (now if I can figure out what to do with them, I can stop using the vise-grips) ;D

Tools do make the difference, I wish I could have afforded some of the nicer ones but I make due with what I have. I need to get me a new pair of jaws for my nylong jaw pliers, man have I got mine chewed up from straightening wire. ;D Long as they still work though, I'm happy.

Great Wrap Randy! You've got several great teachers here on the board, and the best thing about them is that they are willing to help and give tips/advice! You're doing an awesome job wrapping stones my friend. Steve

I ordered some square wire last night, both silver and gold. I tried 24 guage but it seemed really thin to me (big fingers) lol, I have 22 gauge on the way now. I'll keep trying until I figure out what works best for me.
