I am looking for a place to buy bell caps. Any ideas. I tried Gooling but they are wholesale and I need a number
What am I overlooking?

try firemountain gems. Large selection there of stuff. Also search for jewelry findings.

Rio Grande has them as well but you have to have an actual catalogue to be able to order or you can get one for $10 but it contains a $10 gift certificate inside...

I bought several sizes from Fire Mountain, nice looking and inexpensive. (www.firemountaingems.com)

They have some at Kingsly North too.
Basically, there are the the knobby-finger style and the swirly tail kind. Neither one ended looking as good on the stone as I wanted.
I also found a solid fluted (tulip like) bell cap, but will need to check the site when I get home tonight. It cannot be squeezed to fit, so may demand certian size/shape top on the stone, but may look better. I will post a picture when I get one mounted.
There are also the leaf bails. Kingsly North and others have the flat (fold over) type. I have also found a site that has the pre-folded double-eye bail (will need to check tonight). I think this is more attractive.
I am trying out a few things using cord-terminators as bell caps. When I get something mounted, I will post pictures.

Just want to let you all know if you call Rio Grande's toll free number you can get the catalogs for free! You don't get a gift certificate though. Hey Cher? I tried the artbeads site but I can't find any bell caps even with a search. Do you know where they are?

Thanks, you guys, I will check all these sites again. I guess I'm looking at the wrong thing. I have some stones I've done that I think might really work well with them. And I will look for pics, Deb. Cher, I did get some sterling silver wire from Artbeads. They were quick to return. Thanks for that tip.
