Here are a few wraps that I've done on a handful of tumbled stones that I bought. My favorite is the banded amethyst-I love the shape of the rock! First time I've posted pics, so I hope I get this right!   kj |

Wow! Nice job! I'm with you, I like the amethyst best but they're all real nice. Neat having them displayed on the big slab too.....mel

Hey Cher-I PM'd you with a link. The clickable thumbnail in the second picture brings up the album photo. I'm still having trouble figuring out this photobucket thing!

Oh no KJ, your pics disappeared. Did they get deleted or did you change the name? You can modify your posts to change the links in without having to do a new one. That one you pm'd me isn't too big, put the link for that one in.

The album and the photo are still there. I just visited the album. Looks like the picture name now has a "A" on the end. Its a better picture. I can see the wraps much better. (this should give a thumbnail)  The one on the bottom right has such a nice and tidy bail. I am envious. Mine don't turn out so neat - at least not yet. The wrap is neat too. It looks like the only tie is at the bottom, and it runs front to back instead of side to side. I want to try that. |

Thanks Daniel-the crystal and the one on the right are both just really simple cages-actually my first wrap attempts. 2 wires and just the bottom wrap-the bail is a wrapped loop, and then the scroll uses the other extra top wire. I spread the wires slip the stone in and tighten with turns of the flat-nose. It's good for odd shaped tumbles.
