Love the picture tiger-eye stone, but the wrap on the Autum jasper is the height of elegance! I's say "you have arrived", but I suspect you been there for a while.

Damn, I hate when I type out a long reply saying how great the wraps look in detail only to come back later on and realize I didn't hit the post reply button. Anyway, they look excellent Kim, you're getting really good at this wrapping stuff.

Hey Kim-beautiful as usual. What kind of camera are you using? All of your pictures always look so good and well lit. I always have a problem with lighting using my canon A80

halabit it probably takes 1-1/2 to 2 hrs on each one. i always go in thinking it will go faster but it doesn't. i was making a pendant last night or so i thought and ended up with the earring instead. the earrings eally make me nervous because they need to match. now i have 1 done and need to get the other one and the pendant done.
kd i did alot of research before getting this camera. i went for the best i could get for the money with good macro. it is a minolta dimage z1 with 3.2 mega pixels. the downfall on this camera was that the body is rather cheaply made so you really need not to drop it or it might not survive. it probably will do more than i know. i use the same settings over and over. i use the auto setting or the one you are suppose to use for motion shots. seems to work if i'm the one creating the motion lol.

Kim that is just beautiful - but I think we're gonna have to get some stats on these wraps now - like wire gauge & how many wires are being used, size of stone, thickness - I have to get going on the stones I have - I have to wrap some for my aunt and I'm scared to try and waste wire again - but I really like the tiger eye *sigh*

tweetie i have tried alot of different wires but i like the 22 gauge the best in sterling silver or gold filled - dead soft. get the 1/2 round half hard wire for binding the wires together. i dip my pliers in tool magic to keep them from marring the wire or if i'm in a hurry and can't wait for them to dry overnight i will wrap them in masking tape. sands gave me some kind of rubberized clamp that is great for holding the wires together while binding them.
