i thought i'd lost this one to the wire but it actually came out ok. originally the 2 outside wires were only barely in and i liked it but the stone wouldn't stay still. the more i tried to get the stone locked in the farther the wires had to come in. this was sold to me as pietersite - i like it but you'll never convince me it is pietersite kim

Those are beautiful Kim, and great job on cabbing too. I like the way the first one turned out, that's really different. Can be a real pain sometimes to get those stones to lock in tight.

Great job Kim. I really like your style of wrapping. Oh, and about the pietersite, it looks like the pietersite I got!!!

Great job on those kim, yea I had one the other day that I just scrapped it and started over, the wire was not being friendly to me at all. The 2nd one, Do I see a man's face?? It's at the bottom - mouth, nose, eyes, eyebrows, hair - everything. Pretty neat.

robert i saw that man's face too. let me go get a pic of a save i made the other day. i was meaning to wrap the pendant stone and something went bad wrong. just worked out perfectly that whatever i did to destroy the pendant wrapping went nicely on one of the matching earrings. now i'm scared to try to make the match though. trying to get my nerve up to go forward on this one. daniel sent me the set.
