At least for me anyway. This wrap is done using on two wires instead of three. I kinda "hangs" there in the setting. The stone is tightly set - no wiggle. Don't know if this has been done or not, but it is my 1st try and I like it. front: side: back: the stone is ocean jasper, I posted a couple of days ago in the cabbing section: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=ccabs&action=display&thread=1151284831thanks for looking, robert

Looks good Robert. Less wire, more stone.

That's very interesting and a nice job, very clean. I've done a few with two wires but that was mainly on very small stones. Different the way you did the bail, any particular reason you didn't close it?

robert i like the look. did you leave it open so it could be put on a beaded necklace like they do the bead enhancers?

About the bail, I did one like that for a friend that had a solid silver necklace - hard closed wire, slip over the head type of thing. The bail I am never happy with but by doing this type, I'm not ready to kill someone when I finish - haha.

That wrap really does allow the stone to shine. Good work.
