Randy, that took all of 5 minutes to do

Freeform: right now it's just held in place by sheer will - but I plan on gluing it in place so it doesn't come out - I agree, it could be a more manly wrap if you put it on a leather cord of some sort

I really like it - but I hit a snag when trying to wrap other stones, - the two that I did this way were a perfect fit - I'll have to try smaller rings for other stones as they don't all fit so nice

tweety aren't you making your own cabs? so make your cab to shape but don't polish out, then make the "wrap" and if its a little loose take one "row" out and reshape the cab just a tad at a time until you have the tight fit. then polish.
