I love checking out this section, I love examining all the wonderful wraps we have posted here and I do try to get some ideas from what I see. I think when we post cabs, we should indicate how many wires were used (most wraps are so good I can't even tell) and what size wire was used - The wire I know is mostly 20, 22 or 24 gauge wire (sorry Doc) but telling how many wires are used to create your specific design is really hard sometimes, and if I want to do something similar, it doesn't always look good if too many or too few wires are used. I feel this particular section is for displaying your beautiful works and for learning how to wrap from looking at other's works - maybe this information could be listed? I'm not a control freak but I do like to know things - can you say OCD?

I think that is a great idea also. I personally just looked at pictures and took some practice wire and started in, so it would be a great help to have more details. I wasn't sure you could wrap with just 2 wires but gave it a try and now I'm wondering what would happen if you used more than 3 wires just have not had a chance to try that out yet. Also when I purchased my first wire the lady gave me half hard wire and said that is what I needed. Now I have talked to a couple others and they are saying I could use dead soft wire so I plan to order that soon. Anyhow more details would be fantastic and if I post more pics I'll try to remember that. KimJ

Great idea Tweetie! I went back and modified my latest post to include that info. It could be really helpful.

I'm a big offender. ;D I haven't wrapped in about three months but I'll try to remember to include more info. I use 22 guage on almost everything, it seems to be the perfect size for me. I have big hands so I have a hard time working with anything smaller and anything bigger looks well, bigger!
