And here are the pictures of the poppy jasper I got from Ed, wrapped and antiqued. I really struggled with what style of necklace I wanted to string it on... this is about its third reincarnation, and I'm still not sure if I like it (although I'm very happy with the wrap itself). I used antiqued sterling silver, Swarovski simulated pearls (brown) and little carnelian round beads. Tamara www.mcfarlanddesigns.com

WOW! I can see why you like the wrap, that is fantastic. I really like the spiral where it attaches to the necklace, which to me looks great as well. I hated to part with that piece of poppy jasper, but I'm glad to see it found a good home. Awesome job Tamara.

I used the 'Ornate Ring' tutorial ($9), and applied it to a pendant instead. I'm glad you like it. Eni's tutorials are all awesome... I've done quite a few of them now. Tamara www.mcfarlanddesigns.com

okay, that does it...I haven't even perfected the other wire wrap and here I go to buy the tutorial on how to do this kind!!!
Beautiful work - what I love the most, other than the swirlies <gush>, is that this wrap really lets the rock show. Beautiful work!!

Tamara I have to say, I checked out the tutorial pics of the wrapped ring, and I think your wrap is much better, nicely finished and "cleaner" - maybe I'll just study your wrap.... I did find a similar wrap tut online - now to find it again - I only printed out pics *whaps forehead*

Hi Tamara, Welcome to the RTH forums!! That's beautiful, really different too, I like it. You sure can't go wrong with one of Ed's stones, he does beautiful work and you enhanced it perfectly. Cher
