Finally had a chance to take and upload some more pics to post. I like this one because it's green Can't remember the name of either stone right now. KimJ

WOW, I really like them - very talented Kim - great job -
is there a bail on the first one? I can't see it - Could you please tell me what size wire, how many wires (I'm a little funny that way - I need to see to learn....)

Sorry Tweetie, I was going to remember to list the wire but forgot. They are both SS 21 ga square half-hard wire with 21 ga half round wraps and just 2 wires. Yes, the 1st one has a bail it's just tucked in back. Thanks for the compliments, KimJ

Nice job! I'm quite partial to the green one - very pretty stone. So, I've been wondering - how is everyone making these neat little curves with the wires at the top - do you form those with your fingers or with tools...?

How do you like working with the half hard?? It's a bugger for me- but it does stay better, but I do like dead soft much more.... I need my fingers for eating...

Very nice Kim-I love the red one. Is it a tumble or a cab? I will express my extreme dislike once again for working with HH wire! So frustrating! I got a bunch from Silver Supply because they've got the best prices and did not list 21 or 22 in DS. I did contact them and find that they have it, it's just not on line yet-have to call to order it. GRRRRR-can't wait until it is all used up!

kj- They are both cabs. Yes the HH seems a little difficult to work with but it is definately durable. I have been wearing my first wrap 24-7 and other than a little tarnish it has held up wonderfully so I'm a little reluctant to switch to the DS. KimJ

Kim-I haven't lost a wrap yet with DS and it's so much easier to work with. I mentioned on another post that Connie Fox suggests tumbling with steel shot to both harden and polish silver. She says that she tumbles almost all of her work-but she doesn't wrap rocks, so I don't know how well they would stand up in a tumbler. I'm going to get some shot and give it a try. Will post a note with results when I do.
