no tweetie no glue - the center vertical wire goes through the bead and the center horizontal wire curves around the back of the bead.

Ah yes Kim, but good things come to people who wait-or work long and hard at a project. Excellent job.

Very nice Kim-details detail please-what size wire did you use? I TRIED to put one together kind of like this, but failed miserably! This is a neat pattern-you can embellish any number of ways to get unique designs. Way to go!

Yeah, have Sands cut you a diamond shaped cab, drill a hole at the North and South ends, and thread that onto your cross. It would be so COOL.

whooooooooo i don't cab that small. the bead is 6mm. i think the pattern was probably using a 4mm bead with 3 wires and i made mine bigger.

Wow, beautiful work!! I can only imagine how much time that it took considering how uniform all of the wires are. You have more patience than I do darlin!!

Looks great Kim, is it a web site that you got the pattern off? I would love to have a go at one of these but have not done any wrapping in ages

rose the pattern is in the moods in wire book but you should be able to look at my pic and see exactly how it is done. you can vary how many wires you use, whether you put a bead in the center, mix twisted and square wire, change the metals up to gold and silver or copper and brass. they used 4" for the cross wire and 2" for the binding wires. i think i used 3" for the cross. oh and with the bead you need an odd number of wires (3, 5, 7) but if you aren't using a bead it can be an even number of wires (4, 6, 8).
