dinosaur bone in ss 22 gauge round wire and 22 gauge sq wire that i twisted - i think they were both dead soft but the sq wire could have been 1/2 hard. it seemed to be right in the middle between soft and 1/2 hard. kim

Great Job Kim!! I love it how you make the wire just flow around each cab. The twisted wire looks like diamond cuts. So cool! Tonja

Way cool Kim, was it hard to get the wire twisted? Did you use a drill to do it?

cher i didn't use the drill though i've seen sands use it and make it look really simple. it is not hard with the ds wire. i twisted some that was either 1/2 hard of full hard and it was a bugger. i snapped the ends off a couple of times in the pen vise on the harder wire. you need to allow about a 1/2" on both ends that is going to be ruined with the pin vise and pliers then just snip these off when you are through twisting. i used the pin vise and a pair of needle nose pliers and rolled the pin vise down my leg a few times then put the end i had in the pliers in the pin vise and did it a few more from that end. what i didn't know that i now know is you can't twist the round wire. it has to be the square wire. darn shame too. i thought i'd found a use for all that round wire lol.

Looking good Kim. You've got another dino bone cab on the way and I'm sure you'll make it look as good as this one.
