I just got some new wire today - yahoooooooo- so I did these two. I left marks on the "malachite". I'm not sure what they are. A geologist at the college was given a box of 'crystals" (meaning in the metaphysical sense) and he didn't need them. So, I ground these two up into pendants. Now I have 5lbs of battered amethyst points, about 10 quartz, etc....I'll put pics in the regular photos.
This is my first with dead soft SS (20g), 24 g HH SS on the wraps. I left marks in the DS with my tools though...
angelite - had to turn it to the side - the shine kept glaring. Although, the matrix didn't take much of a shine
This has such a blue tint to it that I suspect it is a dyed stone of some sort. Extremely soft though...
