Thanks. Oh, and I went back to the Rock Shop and the green stone is Calcite! They had a pan of them for $1 each. I grabbed a couple more, even though they're very, very soft. I googled and there were a number of calcite jewelry offered, so I figured that once it's set, it'll be okay. I went crazy buying tumbled rocks of all kinds: Florite, citrine, blue lace agate, sardonyx, and more!

I've heard that malachite is not healthy to work? Is that true?
