great job sands and kim - very nice! Can you take a pic of the back if you still have the stone - which you probably don't. Would be nice to see where the wire goes thou

That's a great lookin' wrap, Kim, to go with that stone. Kind of Egyptian, like Queen Nefertiti would have one for sure.

I'm curious about the back too, and the bail. Beautiful, clean design! Way to go Kim!

i can't show you back pics because i shipped it out but i'll try to explain. i've seen this style done where you can end the wires in the back or do the bail the opposite direction and end them in the front. i nipped the wires in the back just a little below the top edge of the stone then barely bent the ends of the wires in toward the stone. but i've seen it done where they are each curled just on the ends (front or back depending on which direction you curve the bail). depending on the length of your wires at this point you could add some swirls. i always add about 4.5" to the size of my stone for the bail. so if you wanted to add some swirls to this you'd probably need another 4" at least - maybe more.

WOW! Beautiful, artsy stone, reminds me of the badlands or grand canyon. I like how the rectangular shape of the bail echoes the rectangular shapes in the stone. Incredible work Kim - that is my favorite of all I've seen you do so far. Perfect.

i hope the lady likes it. she only left me a mailing address, no email or phone # so i included all my info so she could contact me if she has any problems. i did insure it and put delivery confirmation on it so i will know that it got to her.
