i managed to get a hole in a peice...and do a sample peice...what would you all do different?...or maybe an idea of something simple to add...not exactly sure what im doing here. i still have to get a small file for the sharp ends...and hide them a little better....3 peices of 22 gauge copper wire...total heigth including bail is 2 inches...input please...good or bad. clickable....hopefully shows the bail ok. color of prarie agate.

I use that bail on a lot of simple pendants. The difference, I take the last wire and swirl it. It fills in the layers of wraps. Looks nautical, kinda. I also just use my cutters and clip the wire at an angle so the next wrap does not lump over it. I like smooth wraps. Filing is great, except when using 14K20 or 40. Clipping is actually neater, and less work. Those bails are a great addition to a piece like you showed. It also works on a silver pendant where there is enamel and soldering a jump ring is a no-no. A simple drill hole and that bail and voila'! Folks come back for more. I have also twisted the entire wire assembly so it has a more complicated look.

kevin that is the style i like to use on drilled pendants - it feels more secure to me.
