Malachite cut from a tumbled rock I LOVE Crazy Lace! This is the first CL I've done, and it was too cool for words... Seraphinite wrapped in 20 gauge round sterling wire. It's on a magnetic clasp cable, which I'm hooked on. No more tiny twisty clasps for me! ~dee

Very nice wraps Dee. I like the crazy lace also. I have some here but haven't done anything with it yet. You did a great job on your wraps. Are the ends left open or did you tuck them in? I found if they are left open, you can snag yourself or clothes. It looks like they are open, but it's hard to tell. I am by no means an expert on these things, that's for sure. All in all, they're really nice. Great Job. Tonja

I really, really like that style you've done on a couple of the wraps - the seraphinite in this case. The bail is what always gives me problems, and that looks wonderful!
(And I have to get some malachite! I love that stone!)

Hi LadyT, the ends are doubled over. So I hope they don't snag. I am really leaning towards the kind of wrap I did on the seraphinite, rather than all those wires to deal with in the other wrap with square wires. I may cut off the wire from the lace and redo it like the seraphinite!
akansan, I love malachite too! It's the first time I worked with it, because somehow I thought I heard that the copper in those kind of stones were hazardous somehow to work with??

Hey Dee, you don't need to cut the wire off and re-do it. Just bend your wires around to the back of the cab and attach them to a wire by bending them around a wire in the back. I hope that makes sense. You did a great job on those and I'd hate to see you take it apart. Tonja
