I know it's been a while, sorry. Anyhow, I did this one the other day for my mother-in-law. She loves rocks, even has her own collection. This is the smallest wire that I've worked with so far, I ordered it as 24 gauge but I don't know the exact measurement.....

randy that is a killer wrap...i love it...it has t be at least 2 inches from top bail to bottom...which is about what i have been doing.
but the girls in the tanning salon told me they need to be half that size for there crowd to buy them....they said they are killer.... just to long...they want short and sweet...hahahahahaha.
so i am having to re do everything...based on there opinion...i will let you know how it goes.
not sure i should be relying on them...but have nothing else to go on.

Very nice, Randy...I love the delicate wire.
Did you get your saw up and running again?

Thanks y'all!! cpdad- yep, 2 inches exactly. I've been working them down, I just finished a pair of tiger eye pendants for a pair of earrings, they measure 1 inch. I'm gonna attempt to wrap those as well. This one I used gold filled wire, looks like copper in the pic (bad lighting). Susan- saw is still down, you rocks were the last ones that I cut. It was taking more than an hour per cut, I definately need a different blade.

Not bad for a biker, Randy. I think you oughta model your wraps on the lizard. Beats a set of keys any day.

NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE how strong is that wrap with that size wire? Does it hold okay?

Thanks y'all! It seems to be fairly strong, the size of the loops are small which also helps with the strength.
