Well, thought I'd see if I could do this. I am including a grouping of 'guy' stones, which I want to try to wrap very simply and put on a leather thong. Also am attempting to include the heart-shaped lucky stone, and a few that might work as earrings. Anyone have an idea for simple, beginner 'guy' wraps? Thanks!
OK, not getting how to add a pic; any clues? AArgh!

I use webshots it is free and has a link to post your pic's to this page and it is so easy to use. Also you may want to use your Macro setting when tacking the pic's it will help to keep them clear www.webshots.com/Cina

I think because the photobucket picture opens without all the headers and extra stuff. On. the other hand, webshots resizes the photo to fit the screenit is being viewed on, which photobucket does not. this is convenient if someone posts a huge 2048x1600 picture because they don;t know about resizing.

When wrapping for men remember strong angles and heavier wire generally work best.

I'm curious. Do any of our guys here in the RTH family wear jewelry, in that I mean with the rocks they work with? What are your favorites? If not jewelry, do you wear it on belt buckles, slides, rings or ? or just adorn your loved ones with them?

Hey Dee, Take a look at the wrap Kim (Rocky Raccoon) did for showtime, he is a member also and the wrap looked like barbed wire, it is a very cool wrap. I think the thread is in this same section and was titled "wrap for showtime"

I remember the barbed wire wrap hubby had a look and said "now that I would use" it was a very handsome wrap! I had a friend ask me if I could make him a hat band with stones he found by the river where he fishes. I think some stones scream man and others whisper lady just have a look and hear what they say to you Cina

OK, those worked, I just went there from here. Sorry about the links rather than the photos, but I will learn. Here's another, good-times.webshots.com/photo/2269609870099061106sIPPZgMy hubby brought me rocks after a day at work! How sweet! They are really light, not sure what they are; any clues? They seem to be clay-based, and I'm afraid they will disappear when I tumble? So do I break 'em up and run thru the final 2-3 stages?

Hot damn! On a roll! All the links work now, from my end. Hopefully from yours, also. And how the heck do you finish a bail? And make your wraps tight and neat? I can see the potential benefits of the square-nose pliers, after trying to get everything lined up, and make decent , uniform rectangular wraps (which I did not achieve tonight, ha ha!) Never mind, don't answer that, I'll wait patiently for the darn books to get here. Hopefully the wire that's coming is better than what I was punting with.
