I agree with Kim Rio grande is the best place to buy wire. If you need craft wire I can give you a website for that too.

Stullers gives the best price on wire. I find their quality better than Rio's. Stullers also does not sell by guage, only dimensional measurements. Getting tools. Get the best first. Keep them sharp. Sharp tools leave no marks. You will need a smooth chain nose, duck bills, flat cutter, round mandrel pliers. Keep them polished. I prefer Rio's tools to Grobet tools. Rio has the better quality. With pliers, get box hinge, rather than side hinge. As you use the tool, it wears. Side hinge pliers will wear and allow the tips to migrate from side to side.

This is my favorite place to get sterling silver and gold filled wire. I was also able to find my Xuron wire cutters. wire-sculpture.com/Tami

Here' s my fav too! MonsterSlayer.comI can order by the foot and inch, and the shipping starts at $4.05. I have a Rio account, by shipping starts at $8, and I don't order that much at a time. And MonsterSlayer send it out the next day! And I can order it online, in the middle of the night, instead of having to call it in like Rio. dee
