Okay, it's from a tutorial, and NOT my design, but I love this! It was a lot of fun, and I think I feel a 'ring' wrapping obsession coming on... It's a rhodocrisite (sp?) reshaped from a tumbled stone I picked up at a gem show.

Hey, I like that. I used to make one like that, except I used square wire instead of 1/2rd. A little easier to make quickly. Good looking ring, lots of detail. Good job.

That looks great. Joi has been wanting to play around with rings more. How long did it Take?

Yep, it's Eni Oken! I loved this ring from the first time I saw it. She's really nice and frequents the Creative Wire Forum on Delphi. She also adds little silver charms on her work too that look just awesome. It has so much substance too. She uses round wire, but I didn't have any, so I used 1/2 round, and like how it turned out. I've cabbed some citrine, ocho agate and a amythest to try next.

Dee I really love that! - I too thought Eni Oken - looks a lot like that wrapped cab from Stoner's friend (whatever happened to her?)
How long to make that?

It took me all evening, but it was my first one. I've got to start checking my time on these things! lol. I also had to refer to the directions; wait for my ds to get off my computer to check, wrap, fiddle with the wood burning stove, wrap, snack, wrap...it was finally about midnight when I finished!
Thanks for all the comments, you guys are terrific!

Dee what is a "DS"? Also, shouldn't you print out a copy so you don,t lose the file - I assume you paid for that one?

'ds' is 'dear son'. Yep, that's a good idea to print it out, I've crashed a couple of hard drives and lost pictures and files before! I paid $9 for the tutorial. :-) But a hard copy is a good idea. Who says we have less paper in our lives?

Man Dee-my first would sure not look anything like that! I love this Eni pattern-guess I'll just have to buy it too. I love the look of the 1/2rd, but will it hold up well? What size is the wire on that shank? The stone is very pretty! KJ

HI KJ! I used 1/2 round 18 gauge, because I didn't have any 18 round that she uses handy. That's why I wrapped it, but I think it'll hold up well enough. Confession: I really don't wear rings, lol. My daughter and niece haven't mentioned any problems though!
