I'm totally dumbfounded. Randy sent me a package, out of the blue. Holy frickin' cow! He sent some major rocks, some of his gorgeous cabs for me to practice on, and some necklaces with chains and everything!
Apparently, he did this to several other newbies, as well.
What can I say, except THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
And, what do I do with the amazing rocks? Now I need a saw! There's no way on God's rockin earth that I'm going to hit some of those rocks with a hammer.
Again, thanks SO MUCH, and how can I return the favor?
My mom picked out one of the cabs, she thought it was the most amazing rock, and thought it would go well with her tiger eye earrings.
My sons' girlfriends actually GOT IT when I showed them the cabs. One is kinda high maintenance, and she said, and I quote, "I want to wear THAT one." (referring to the Mexican lace agate). The other girlfriend thought they were all amazing, as did I. But, she picked out some of my tumbled stones. She said that was more her style. Go figure.
Once again, Thanks, Santa Randy!!
Have to say, that was the best package I've picked up at the post office this month.
My husband, after seeing my delight upon opening the package, was a little confused. He's a sweetie, and he does bring me rocks. He just doesn't get it, yet.
My brother stopped by, the day I got the pkg. He just happened to notice them, still on my kitchen table. He's more of a rock hound than I am, and he was amazed! His reaction was like mine: some guy you've never actually met just sent you these rocks? Do you KNOW what some of these rocks are?
No, I don't. I can guess at some, however. And, Randy, please tell me what I can hit with a hammer and tumble, and what I need to find a saw for. Some are of course, obviously slicers.
Once again, thanks bunches. I still cannot believe your generosity! I hope that someday, I can pay it forward.
