Okay, here's one I've had for a while from Sands. This is for one of my co-workers who has been asking me about purchasing one of my wraps. I still feel uncomfortable about setting a price, but I'm going to throw $40 out there and see if she grimaces. Does that sound reasonable? 22G R SS w/ 22G 1/2R - both DS Oops - I just realized HOW up close and personal this image was. I'll reduce the grand scale of it later.

That price sounds good. It's around what I've been asking and 3 of mine sold. It's a beautiful stone and you wrapped it so nice!! I love it! Tonja

You did a fantastic job on a great cab, so $40 is a very good price. You have to consider how much time is involved in cutting the stone and wrapping it, plus materials and wear and tear on the equipment-and your fingers!

you did a super job on that cabojohn! no way to set a fair price on these. sands spent days cutting on that noreena and it made a heck of a mess in the saw, then the cabbing time, wrapping time, cost of wire - the only way people can fully appreciate the time in this is to see some of the process. and i say "some" because they arent' going to hang around as long as the whole process takes unless they brought their overnight bag. it's a one-of-a-kind, original, handmade piece. your price is very fair so hold your head up proud when you tell her!

I sold a nice one to a guy in Orlando for $65, but your's is nicer than mine was (honest). That's beautiful, both the cab and the wire!

Well, she turned down $40. I was unsure on pricing, but I wasn't willing to go lower than that! I had a couple smaller pieces with me, and she chose a small one with only two wires - in fact, it was my least favorite wrap that she chose! Oh well. I guess she really didn't want it after all.

Don't feel bad about her turning it down, it's her loss. Someone who can appreciate a quality piece will jump at that for that price.

ed's right nothing bad against your friend but most people fig you made it and they should get it for nothing haha, they just dont relize the work you put in it --- the right person will see it and snap it up for that price i bet ya PS. i suck at wrapping and my best sale was 125.00 for a piece done in gold -- here's a pic

Yea sands that wrap job is awful!!! just kidding. I can see why you got that much for it.
Joi and I charge $20 for our wraps but as the quality of the stone and wrap work goes up so will the price.
