Nice wrap dee. The stone looks a little light to be Kamamba jasper. Kamamba jasper is usually more of a bluish green with dark spots.

ok this looks like the kabamba ocean jasper that don and mel have been talking about in the greens and golds.

I agree Kim - it's not the algae experiment that deb193 posted, but it's not quite ocean jasper. Beautiful stone and beautiful wrap!

Thanks everyone! I think it's...Kabamba, mostly because it got the most results when I did a yahoo search, opposed to the others, which still got 'something' but not as many! :-))
One less letter than what I thought it was is a good thing... what a name!

OK, *L* I know all these names sound the same. That's what I would call Kabamby Jasper and I understand it's found inland from the actual Ocean Jasper site and the material is less transparent and more of a jasper than the Ocean Jasper. I like it way better than actual Ocean Jasper! The Kabamba Jasper is the dark green on light green sort of rhyolite like material that some call stromatolite and some call Pollywog Jasper....mel
