Well, I have seen all of you do this and am fascinated by everyones designs. I figured it was time to see if wire wrapping was something I would be able to do. So, here is my first attempt with some practice wire. It is also one of the first small slabs that I cut on the Workforce - a small triangle slice of leopardskin jasper. I can see that it is going to take alot more practice but I think I will like doing them alot! Try not to laugh too much(!?!) and thanks to all for the incentive!

Great job bud, especially for a first time!! Each one that you do will be better than the one before it.

Thanks everyone for all the kind remarks! Everyone here makes it look so easy, but with a little more practice I think I can make it work. I can't wait to cut some more pieces and try some different designs, then I will work my way up to the silver or gold wire wraps.

Thanks jonje - I wasn't sure what to do with the tag ends of my second wire and it seemed like the right thing to do. The twists almost give it a braided chain look. I just have to work on making everything tighter and with fewer spaces on the rolls.

Pretty good for your first wrap, keep it up, you will find it very relaxing if you just let the wire flow with the stone and your energy. Tami
