This was harder than it looked. I think the next one will be much better. Leopard Skin Jasper wrapped in 14k 20 g gf hh square wire. Dang Tweety, I forgot the back. The end wires are wrapped above and under the stone. The back is clean. I saw many booboos in this picture and have since fixed what I could. I promise to make the next one better. ;D Thanks for looking. Tonja

Man that's nice - that must have been a bugger to wrap! lotsa twists & turns - but well worth the effort - Did you polish the leopardskin as well - I can't remember if you posted a pic or not
Great job!

Tweet, yes I cut and polished the stone, then wrapped it. It was a bugger because the stone kept slipping out, until finaly, the last tuck and nip secured it better. Tonja

Thanks again everyone. Kim - by today's lesson, I just mean what I learned today. I browse around the web and find things that I like. Then I try to figure out how it was done. This one looked fairly easy until I started to bend the wires. Then everyone left the room, my husband said I could've taught a sailor a thing or two. LOL I kept getting upset because the stone falls out all the time. Finally when I got to the last wire to attach, it stayed in nice and tight. I saw another wrap that has alot of swirls in it, I may try it later today. Thanks again all! Tonja

I love this wrap! The stone is definitely the focus.
I have the same problem with a lot of my wraps - the stone falling out. I've finally come to grips with that fact (the stone will fall out), and actually wrap without the stone except for when I'm bending the wire. Then I remove the stone until I get to the next step in the measuring process!
