For those of you who use those pendant casings that are already made, do you think they would work for broken shaped vintage china pieces as well? As I am not sure how you put your stones into them or where you buy them. I know there are Ebay sellers that make their own silver casings for they china pieces, but I am wondering if I could use the same ones that you use for rock cabs. Any help would be great!

Debs, At the main show at Quartzite one year there was a crafter that had simply cut 30x40 ovals from old china and mounted them in regular manufactured cinch mounts etc right from the lapiday catalogs and they were very kewl. He'd use a bird or flower from the design as the centerpiece of the cab and they were both artistic and interesting looking little jewels....mel

Debs, here is a site where you might find what you are looking for. Someone (Tonya?) told me about it a couple of months ago. They have some stuff that I think would fit what you want pretty well (I spent 2 hours looking before I ordered today): www.creditcardcastle.com/index.shtml It is Eloxite corp, not sure why they went with that website name.
