Here's some of the wraps I made a little while ago. It's been a while since I posted any, so I have a lot more. These are the ones I managed to photograph last night. I had some time over the holidays and spend a good portion wrapping while I was not helping my wife get better, usually when she was resting. I learned to wrap quietly. Enjoy. Steve Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper: Laguna agate. This wrap has a buddy. A pair of Amethyst Sage Agate earrings. Resized the photo in photobucket and now it's too late. Guadalupe Japser: These two I did recently: Pet wood: Blue lace agate:

Awesome Steve, beautiful job on them. Sorry but I had to giggle at your "learned to wrap quietly" statement ... I didn't know that was possible. ;D Nice designs and nice stone selection too, I love that blue lace.

Those are beautiful Steve. It looks like you use 4 wires on most of your wraps, is that right? What size wire did you use? Anyway... they look great... hope I get that good.

Awesome wraps and stones Steve. Every time I tried to wrap a stone, it was really noisey-but that was just me swearing and throwing things!

Hey Steve, On pics 1,2,3 & 6... Some may laugh at what I'm about to say, but those wraps have a very art deco feel to me. The long, pretty, sweeping lines with the curved geometric angles really is cool!
I'd be very proud to have done those.

Thanks! Art deco huh? Cool. I just like the tight spirals. My thought is if the rock has a lot of pattern I try to keep the twirls up and compact. I save the swoops for stones that lend themselves to it. THose earrings though- they're so tiny, I was just happy to do them.
BlarneyStone, I use 4 main wires if it's 22GA or a small stone. I use 5 if it's 24GA. Steve
