Here's the second wave of wraps I did. Many of these are cabs you haven't seen either. I had a lot of time over the holidays to do wraps and made sure to do a bunch of cabs at the time. It's really easy to get lost in wire-wrapping. BTW, these are photographed differently (with chains and uniform sizes) because I made them for someone's website. I hope you enjoy them. And get this. My wife is in the other room wondering what I'm up doing on the computer. I told her I was here and she just asked, "what are you rocking about" HA HA HA. That just happened a minute ago. She's so cool. Steve Crazy lace agate: Blue lace agate Petrified wood from Arizona Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper: Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper Amethyst Sage Agate: Amethyst: Amethyst: Botswana Agate: Botswana Agate. THis one has an tiny crystal center and is translucent enough to pick up lots of colors. You look at it and it looks blue. Hold it up and it looks brown. Cool!

Very nice wraps Steve. Your work is so intricate! Each cab has a dantiy feel to it. May I ask, what size wire do you use? I just love your work. Thanks for the pics. Tonja

Very nice Steve. The first amythest looks like there's an embryo in it. Is that the camera reflection? Nice stones and wraps. Are you selling these on the website?

Thanks all. Ed, that embryo is the reflection of the camera lens and the two little things are the screws used to hold the mounting plate on. But interestinggly, because thsi cab was from a cross section of a crystal, you can see a faint cross or X near the middle if you hold it up to the light. In answer to your qiestion, they will be sold on the website of my wife parents neighbors. My mom-in-law liked them and showed them off to her. She likes them and wants to put them on her site to see how they do. She has a wedding supply website. Speaking of, I am working on a website. This is the preliminary layout. I am going to change a lot (The words- I just made some stuff up at 3:00 in the morning. I am going to reword everything), and none of the links work (I have cool plans for those, with some fancy HTML coding if I can figure it out). I am going to change the title too- too garish. Here's the first draft. Comments are welcome: www.sonic.net/users/rocks (or) www.sonic.net/~rocks. 181Lizard, I cab them myself which I prefer. I have even started to make cabs with flat bezels just for wire wrapping, and with shapes that lend themselves to wrapping. I'm a cabber at heart. Tonja, I use 22 GA wire mostly. I use 24 GA wire too tough I try to avoid it because it doesn't come in soft (I'm a whimp). The first Botswana is done in 24Ga wire. Funny thing it, I think the smaller rocks look so much better with 24gA wire. Steve

The wraps are awesome and the stones you cut are just fantastic. Man, you are a do it yourself Jewelry store. I love the really red poppy cab, the color is so vivid.
