I finally got around to wrapping that Wiggins fork pendant. Unfortunately I am not to sure I like the wrap. This one may be a redo! Thanks for looking.

Now I like that one!! LOL We shoulda just traded, LOL. Honestly, this is a very pretty wrap. I like the idea of using the silver beads. The wrap reminds me of a ice forest. Vert pretty!!

That's an awesome cab and I like the wrap but I don't know if I like those beads on there or not. It's an interesting idea though, I've thought quite a few times about using beads but have never tried it yet. I did buy some swarovski crystals to try but never did that either.

It is a very nice wrap, I like the bead idea, I think what you are not liking about the wrap is the size of the wire, it looks a little thin for that size of stone, just my opinion.

I like the beads idea - do they scratch the stone? I was wondering like Tami, is the cab just really big or is the wire very thin? It would probably look a lot different wrapped the same way but with thicker wire -
The stone is awesome! it goes really good with the sterling silver - nice choice on that!

The stone is 40mm by 30mm, and I think your right I need to use bigger wire!

Wowzers! This just took my breath away. I think it's a perfect wrap personally.. very delicate for a very lady like looking stone! Gorgeous! Tammy

I like the bead idea. It makes it unique. Don't get me wrong, I love the wire wraps, but after awhile, they can start to look the same (except for the stones, of course). Adding beads adds a new dimension to it!

Thanks for all the comments. I am gonna leave this one alone. The next big stone I do I am gonna try larger wire.

Jonje, the more I check out your wraps, the more I think it might be a way I could get my wife involved in my rock habit. She really likes the stuff you make and when I show her, she's actually interested and doesn't give me that little "more rock stuff" smile that I have started to grow used to. Thanks for the pictures. Keep them coming. Mike

One more vote for "It's cool just like it is" here. I like the beads idea too. That stone is beautiful. It's funny how sometimes the things you are sure about people love. I personally think that's a wonderful wrap and like it just the way it is. Steve
