Hi everyone! Looking at such beautiful things on this section made me trying to do some wraps. Take a deep breath and try not to laugh too loud! They are not exactly Desert-dweller's "Anchor" but they are not very far (this also because the stones are beach pebbles). Their shine is naturally. I didn't polish them at all. I let you decide which is front and which is back (or both back ? ) Thanks for looking. They are not functional, as they're made of very soft tin wire (used in electrical stitches). They are truly "hand-made" (the only tool was a clamp for nails cutting). Making these wraps, my respect for you, the Professional Wrappers (PW) grew suddenly. Do you think I have a chance? Adrian

Hey at least you have the idea....try some craft wire. It's not as soft as what you're using, and pick up some tools.
Keep going. It's lots of fun.

Banjo turned me on to this site when I first started. Good place for starter tool kits and wire to play with... www.delphiglass.com/wire-wrapping/kitsFor some really nice examples of wire-wrapped pendants check out his site, he's still my favorite wrapper. www.banjo-creek.comWhen you graduate to real wire go to... www.RioGrande.comJust realized you are in Romania. Have fun! ;DS

You did a pretty good job there Adrian. You have the basic ideas done just right. Now go to the craft store and get you some craft wire in the beading section I believe. use the same principals you have here and do it again, and again, and again. Soon you will be moving up to the "real" wire and producing wraps that will knock your socks off!! Great job. Tonja

Great job on the first wraps. Not easy to make double sided wraps. Keep at it.

I think those are great first wraps! and I can hardly believe that beach stones polished so shiny! I wish my beach rocks looked like that. Great first effort.

I think these look great too! The craft wire that I picked up was from Michaels www.michaels.com/art/online/homeBut, they only carry 24 0 30 g wire. Anyway.. they look really good. Tammy

Definitely fine for first wraps Adrian, keep at it and you'll soon be wrapping all the time.

I was just looking at these again and you know.. I think they'd be great for a young surfer dude type man you know? On a piece of leather cord or something.. I think they're great.

If you are that good on your first wraps and with electrical wire then WOW. Those are awesome. I like the spiral on the second one. You certainly have got the twists and loops down. They look great. Steve
