Hello, I've bought the materials yesterday and this after-noon I've built this wrapping table. As you see, it's full of all sorts of vices. I don't know if all will be useful. For the moment, the most ugly proved to be the most useful . I've put the yellow plastic band on its jaws to avoid the imprints and the scratches of the wires. I found the screw-vice useful at the first binding between the main wires. And the anvil .... well, I really don't know if I can use it in wrapping, but isn't it cute? The size of the table allows me to work with it on my knees or on a low table. I think I'll round the two front corners of the table to avoid punching me in the arms. Thanks for looking, any improvement ideas are welcome! Adrian

Adrian - I would sure use the anvil! Sterling wire can be pounded out with a rawhide mallet & makes some beautiful silver jewelry shapes. Plus...I think hammering it also makes it stronger.

That's a great idea Adrian, I like the little storage drawers.

Came out very nice. Especially like the storage bins. And the anvil will, I'm sure, find it's place very soon in your arsenal. Last ps. you have some nice tools!

great work. the anvil will come in handy as you get more creative. wish I had a decent one that I could use when making my earrings and such. Using a hammer to flatten the wire adds a different effect and yes it does strengthen the wire.

You're welcome, Jack ! That's why I posted it here. My philosophy is that someone really creative would reach anyway at my solution, even if I post it or not (in the second case maybe with a little delay, and possible an even better solution). So why hiding it? If you make some improvements, please let me know. Adrian

Nice work. I might have to try my hand at wire-wrapping some day. A good excuse to buy more tools.
