I recently had the opportunity to make a display of some wraps for a salon. A friend of my wife's opened a hair cutting salon and asked if I wanted to sell jewlery. She liked my work and wanted to have it at her place. I put 7 in a flat case along with earring my wife did. Beleive it or not I was up until 5 in the morning doing wraps and getting ready. This is the first bit of selling I was actually involved with so I was very apprehensive and wanted to get everything right. Now I'm pooped.
Today was the salon grand opening, and I got a lot of good responses. Everyone liked my work and people were very interested in how it was made. Here's what it looks like. Most of these wraps are new, so I included closeups. SOme of the photos are a bit fuzzy.

Here it is. It's a flat case with something under it to prop it up:
Chrysocolla. This is Jamie's BTW:
Another Chrysocolla, also Jamie's. THis one looks like a map with it's blues and greens:
Blue lace agate and crazy lace agate. People responded to the crazy lace agate the most out of all the wraps.
Petrified wood:
Blue lace agate:
Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper:
And here's some earrings my wife did:
It was a cool experience and a first for me. I am still nervous about selling them. Part of me is worried about how it will go, and the other part of me has seperation anxiety with the wraps. Each one I do I feel connectoed to and it's strange to know they are somewhere else at the moment. I need therapy, rock therapy, at the moment.
