Just wondering.... Does anyone have a hot pink cab or tumbled rock, either wrapped or not? I guess my son's girlfriend is now into rocks (it rubs off, what a hoot!), and would love a hot pink wrap or mount. She's a great little gal, so I thought I would ask. I've never come across a hot pink rock, myself, but I'll bet someone here has. I made her a necklace out of a very pale pink quartz tumbled stone, she wears it all the time along with his class ring, bless her heart. Her birthday is April 13, so I do have a little time. Let me know the cost etc.; the girlfriend presents do have a limit. Thanks!

I don't know of any hot pink rocks but there's pink quartz and rhodonite. I have both but neither are wrapped right now. She like gold or silver?

I think I remember seeing some pink dyed agates at my favorite rock shop... the problem is that it's almost a 2 hour drive away from me... will probably visiting that area in a couple of weeks and can pick up a couple for you.

Hey, I 've met AROC when he comes to CA for a couple of shows in my area! Super nice guy, with fantastic rock! Bought quite a bit from him, and I always check his auctions too, on ebay.

One of the greatest things about this board is this...I don't know a whole lot...but every day I learn because everyone around here is willing to share. I've found that the sharing also extends to our possessions. People here are willing to go the extra mile and most of the time...don't want anything in return... except for you to share what YOU have with someone else. Say "Thank You", be kind, apologize when ya get grumpy, (yup...I got grumpy...once) & pay it forward. You need rock cut? Just ask. Maybe you leave a little of what is cut with the cutter. You need a cab? Send something back to someone to say thank you. Show a pic of something someone here did for you. Tell your friends.
Am I right? Ya'll weigh in on the subject.

I have seen some gorgeous hot Pink Tourmaline on a TV show from the Stewart Mine in Pala, CA. I know this is a gem vs a stone, but the color is indescribable!

I just googled pink tourmaline; it is amazing and really hot, to quote another "PPP" (pretty pink princess)! Little pricey for the girlfriend present, tho, even if she is a PPP! But hey, an anniversary or (married) birthday present, in comparison to the "Dawg House," would be, in my opinion, entirely appropriate. Unless he wants to spend lots and lots of time out there....

Just tell him the girls will be over to paint his shed pink unless he reads it....
Ed (Stoner) and Cher are setting me up with his cab and her wrap for very reasonable prices. He has some rhodocrosite cabs that are a gorgeous pink. Perhaps he'll post his pix here, cuz I can't figure out how to copy them from his PM.
Thanks, all, for all the help!

This is the stone Karen picked to have Cher wrap as her "girlfriend" gift. It's one of my favorite types of rock.

Hey, I found Stoner (Ed's) website, looks like it is still under construction, but here it is: stonesinmotion.com/I can't wait until he gets pix of all his cabs on there. And, for those of you who don't already know, here is Cher's: www.mnironrange.com/Check out her Emerald blog, I can't wait to see the results. What fun! They have been so great, I really had to plug them.
