Anyone worked with Seraphinite before? I'm seeing it listed as mohs 2 and 4. How soft is it? Is it like green fuschite? That stuff flaked off all over me. Here's a pic.

Krazydiamond's worked with it, yes...made some gorgeous pieces too. She says it's soft and, if I recall correctly, that, plus the price of the stuff, make it hard to cab but harder to tumble.

Me too! I've done half a dozen Seraphinite cabs and I really like the stuff. It is extremely soft but it takes a great shine.

I have some snowflake jade from montana that looks very simular but is a little harder and works easier
