OK, found a steak knife; opening, opening, WOW! The pink one is extremely cool, very, very beautiful. I want to keep it, and I'm not a pink person! However, and thanks a gazillion, that Thunder Egg wrap is so much more my style, and it is incredible!!! The stone looks like a butterfly set in rock on one side! And the wrap is truly, truly gorgeous. Both sides. It's reversible! The pix do not do either wrap justice. Cher's wire is thinner than the stuff I have been trying to work with, so the wraps are very 'delicate' and 'classy' and feature the rocks, which I think is amazing. Thanks, thanks, thanks! Folks, I would post pix, but Cher already did, and she did a better job than I could. Refer to the 'Hot Pink' and 'Thunder Egg' threads in this forum. Yep, I'm excited. Seeing the finished wraps in person kind of takes my breath away! Thanks again, Cher! And thanks, Ed, for the wonderful cab(s)! It is Mandy to a T! Perfect color, just a little off the straight and narrow.... LOL. Once again RTH folks ROCK!

I am so happy that you like them and hope they give you years of enjoyment. Both the sterling and the gold-filled are 22 gauge dead soft with 22 gauge 1/2 hard 1/2 round on the bindings.
Yeah, I want to know too so hurry up and give it to her!! ;D

Karen, you're lucky to have such beautiful wraps! That "basket wrapped" thunder-egg is fantastic! I can almost see you jumping while looking at the "gorgeous reversible butterfly" . Anyway, I think I would have done it.

Had to take my aunt to Greeley for surgery the day after I posted this, so had no time to get chains. However, I took the wraps w/me, found a mall, and a very nice little gal helped me find just the right chains for both. She even doctered my gold chain with her pliers! The chain I wanted had 2 strands, but I only wanted one; she removed the shorter chain, took off the clasp so we could get the rock threaded, and put it all back together. I walked out of the store wearing it. She thought it was very cool, and I gave her this website. She's going to google Thunder Eggs. We found just the right sterling silver chain for the GF pink wrap. Sterling silver comes in lots of different colors, LOL! And I wanted a smaller, kinda 'solid' looking chain to match the wrap. The nurses at the hospital noticed my one-of-a-kind necklace right away! Again, explained, and one is a 'closet' RH. She was amazed that you could make something that cool out of rocks. We were joking about threading my aunt's gall stones for a 'personalized' necklace, but we forgot to ask the surgeon to keep them. Apparently she had a massive amout, he said he took almost 4 handfuls of stones out!!! I'm hoping they were small handfuls... Now that I'm back and have a chain to go w/it, I will get the GF wrap in the mail Monday. And I will post pix of the stones w/chains as soon as I can figure out how to show them off the best.

Hope everything is ok with your aunt. You have to mail it to her? Dang that means a longer wait to find out what she thinks of it. I know, I know, patience. ;D

Here is the pic of wraps w/chains. You can't tell from the pic, but the Thunder Egg chain has tiny little balls every 1/2 inch or so. My aunt is fine, she breezed thru her gall bladder removal, even with her advanced MS, which caused concern with possible respiratory and pulmonary complications. No complications, we brought her home the day after. She didn't even want any pain meds except some ibuprofen. I told her she is one tough lady!

OOps! Got a call to go pick up a kid while I was doing this, and got in a hurry.... I did fix the post. And I do apologize; the pic is a bit blurry. I took 8 photos, and this was the best one. Jeez! Still learning how to take close-ups! Cher, I will let you know the GF reaction as soon as I hear it.
