Dragon eye is in a handflower, found the other Malachite on the internet, knowing they would go perfectly together. The earrings have malachite chips. Tami

Really awesome!! I love chainmailing, and I totally understand the work that gets put into it, not to mention the expense of the rings. that is really great. oh and malachite is not cheap either. Love it!!!

I have been thinking about the the cabs and the chainmail, what a great combo, your name fits once again.
Those should be in a art gallery, but the name has to be there also. Otherwise dopes like me will go to bed late in the night and suddenly realize "I get it". Thankfully I "got it" before that happened.

Beautiful job Tami - that is some really small byzantine you got going there. What material are your rings? I wanted to do a Jap 12-2 draped necklace and those rings look like they would be a great material to use - love the colors & you did a great job on the wrap & the weave Euro is one of my favorites...

Dragon Eye is the cab that I won in a contest here on this site a couple of years ago, it wasn't until recently that I finally found a home for it. Desertdweller, I worked on it for two days, if I hadn't had other things to do I could have done it in a lot less time. For those that asked about the wire the gold is tarnish resistant gold with the main base of copper, the green is vinyl coated copper. I get my wire at www.parawire.com the larger piece of Malachite really wasn't too bad, I got it off of e-bay, but when I saw it I just had to have it. Kim all the stone in the set are Malachite. Tweetiepy, if I remember right the ring size is either 2.5 mm.

Kim, it's a handflower - it goes around the wrist and the small sections go around the fingers

Tweetiepy is correct, the small rings go on the fingers and the other part goes around the wrist. Tami
