Yeah...it just takes some REAL mental work for me sometimes to remember to be LIGHT handed. lol...don't worry...it'll come. Oh...and sanding your pliers from time to time helps also, as they get nicks in them. You can get the shot at one of these places: www.thunderbirdsupply.com www.contenti.comwww.jewelrysupply.comwww.sfjssantafe.comI think it is the last one that has the best price. I just flat out can't remember. Anywho, I think my shot has different sized pellets in it. I don't think they had more than one type of stainless steel shot. If you are ever down this way, stop by and I'll give ya a few pointers if you want. My DH is used to this. lol.... Just remember to honk, as I have 4 dobermans!

Thanks again for the nice comments Cher & Catman! Nancy Did you say mental work? ...I better keep coating my pliers for a while then...hehe. ...seriously.. i get what you mean.. I'm just still getting used to these teeny tiny pliers! I didn't know SFJ carried SS shot and the price is much better than others I've looked at... so thanks for that. I guess the different shapes are supposed to get into the nooks and crannies. I definitely want to try burnishing a finished wrap with it. Stainless is so much softer than carbon steel... it makes sense. Yep... we're practically neighbors huh? I'd really appreciate a few pointers.. that's for sure... and I love Dobies.. my wife does too.. she had 3 growing up. Maybe we could plan road trip and come out for a visit someday! We've been awful busy this year so I don't know when we could make it but I will certainly keep it in mind and let you know. ...ya'll got any good rocks over there? ;D Dan

Shooooooot! I have a hard time finding a pebble here. We live on a hill that is nothing more than caleechee (dun't know how to spell that word). :~ We do have some Oaks but I have to say, to me they are miracle trees. lol... The soil isn't very deep in most areas. Still, we do have grass! whew! I'd love to go rock hunting one day...my DH wants to too. yeah!

Very nice Dan. The first one almost looks like a setting rather than a wrap. What happened to the rest of the stone on the second one? ;D ;D ;D I like that style and the shape just calls out to be done like that. Excellent work.

There is always some unique individual who thinks outside the box.... If you only knew how hard I tried to get rid of a little "void" like the one that is so amazing in your wrap.... That's the difference between an artist and a technician. You, the artist, used it. I, the technician, tried to fix it. Rock on, Artiste!

Thanks Dan for posting the backs I know I'm a pain but that's how I've been learning what to do with the darn wire ends! (I'm getting quite the reputation now aren't I?)

You are certainly NOT a pain Tweetie! I'm actually flattered that you would want to see the backs.... I'll do better to remember the backs in the future. Thanks again to everyone for all the great comments and words of encouragement. Dan
